Pastor Carlton Spuill is a visionary leader, anointed teacher, and compassionate shepherd called to lead Healing From Heaven Temple Church of God in Christ into a new era of spiritual restoration and community transformation. Under his leadership, the church has embraced its identity as more than just a place of worship—it is a movement grounded in healing, hope, and holiness.
With a heart for God's people and a passion for authentic ministry, Pastor Spuill is known for his powerful preaching, sound biblical teaching, and unwavering dedication to serving others. His ministry is marked by a deep commitment to inner healing, deliverance, and empowering individuals to live out their divine purpose.
Pastor Spuill believes that church should be a safe haven, a spiritual hospital where broken hearts are mended, lives are rebuilt, and faith is revived. Through spirit-led worship, community outreach, and practical teaching, he ensures that Healing From Heaven is a place where everyone—from the lost and lonely to the faithful and fervent—can find a home.

Looking to the Future with Faith
We stand on the shoulders of giants.
The Healing From Heaven Temple Church of God in Christ, located at 2535 Frederick Douglass Boulevard in Harlem, New York, was established by the late Pastor Leo Stallworth — a true visionary whose ministry touched generations. Through challenging times, Pastor Stallworth faithfully founded this church in the heart of Harlem, and his powerful evangelistic and radio ministry brought healing, deliverance, and hope to countless souls. His life, legacy, and family remain forever in our hearts.
As we honor the past, we embrace the future.
Today, under the guidance of Pastor Carlton Spruill — who humbly accepts the mantle to lead and care for God’s people — the vision lives on. Pastor Spruill was prayerfully appointed by the late Bishop James Henry Gaylord, former Presiding Bishop of Eastern New York, to continue building on the foundation laid by Pastor Stallworth.
The faithful membership of Healing From Heaven Temple remains steadfast in its commitment to the vision: to build the New Healing From Heaven Temple Church of God in Christ at its current location.
Construction has begun on this 21st-century, state-of-the-art religious and community-based facility. Rooted in faith and built for the future, this new church will serve as a beacon of hope, healing, and support for both families and the Harlem community.
The vision lives. The work continues. The future is now.
